This is 666 Park Avenue, you can find it on Netflix and other streaming sites. My first impression was that this show was a bit slow but then it delved deeper into the plot and became more interesting. This was based upon a book by the same name. Now for the summary:
If you could make one wish, what would it be? And what would you do to get it? At 666 Park Avenue, all of your dreams and burning desires can come true: wealth, sex, love, power, even revenge. But just be careful what you wish for, because the price you pay...could be your soul. Welcome to The Drake, the premiere apartment building on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Owned by the mysterious Gavin and Olivia Doran, The Drake is home to dozens of residents who are unaware they're living in the dark embrace of supernatural forces. They think their dreams are all coming true, only to find they've been lured into making, what feels like, a deal with the Devil. When a young Mid-western couple- Jane Van Veen and Henry Martin- is hired to manage The Drake, they soon discover that evil, obsession, and manipulation has a home.
I enjoyed this series. I personally liked how everything was intertwined with everything else. Every single character had a great background story and personality. The plot was always interesting once it got into the swing of things. It was a nice change from what I usually watch but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The heroine of our story Jane is very intelligent and everything is based on her relations with the Drake. Her boyfriend Henry is entrapped by politics and the owner of the Drake. The setting skips all around New York and and through time itself. The building itself is gorgeous and even if you don't like the series the hotel itself is worth looking up. I enjoyed the end, but wish more was added on.
I give this series a four out of five.
